Quiz competition and Nukkad Natak’

AI&DS department of GNIOT organized A leadership competition called "Mind Your Logic" was successfully organized by MANAN Club in association with IIC for all students of B.Tech 2nd Year CSE-AI, CSE-DS, CSE-Design and AIDS branches. The competition was divided into two levels: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) on the first level and coding questions with all provided constraints on the second level.

One Day Workshop on Cyber Security

Dr. Nihar Ranjan Roy a cyber-security expert, was the guest Speaker who enlightened various issues on protection and security in cyber space. Following topics were covered with hands-on by the Speaker:

  1. SQL Injection
  2. Cross-Site Scripting (XSS)3. Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)
  3. File Inclusion Vulnerabilities
  4. Brute-Force and Dictionary Attacks

Panel Discussion on “INNOVATION & START UP”

Department of CSE-AI&DS, Greater Noida Institute of Technology(Engineering Institute ) organized panel discussion on Innovation and Start-Up on 30th April 2024 for all students of B.Tech 2nd Year CSE-AI, CSE-DS, CSE-Design and AIDS branches.
The panelists are Mr. Saurav Kumar (Deputy General Manager TBI), Mr. Bhudev Chauhan (Manager-Admin TBI) and Dr. Anuranjan Mishra (Dean IIC, GNIOT, Gr. Noida)
Panelists emphasized the importance of securing funding for startups and discussed various sources, including venture capital, angel investors, crowdfunding, and government grants. Strategies for building investor relationships and managing financial resources effectively were highlighted. The significance of mentorship and support networks in nurturing startup founders and fostering innovation was underscored. Successful mentorship programs, incubators, accelerators, and networking events were discussed as essential elements of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Overall, the panel discussion provided valuable insights and actionable strategies for aspiring entrepreneurs, policymakers, investors, and ecosystem builders to support innovation and startup growth.

An Expert Talk on Trends and Opportunities in 4.0 Industry

The AIDS Department, organized an Expert Talk on “Trend and Opportunities in 4.0 Industry”, on January 24, 2024. Mr. Neel Panicker was the expert have 12 years of teaching and coaching experience in industry delivered this talk. Industry 4.0 is built on four main principles: Interconnectivity: the ability of machines, sensors, systems, and even processes to communicate with each other in real time. Advanced technologies now allow real-time data exchange, enabling seamless synchronization and collaboration across the manufacturing processes. Furthermore, Industry 4.0 technologies can be deployed to change the future of manufacturing in India. Using AI and IoT, we can improve productivity & reliability, reduce costs, increase efficiency, and improve quality, safety, and sustainability.

TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION05th SEPTEMBER 2023

Teachers' Day in India is marked in honour of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was born on September 5, 1888. Dr Radhakrishnan was India's first vice president and second president. He was a great scholar, philosopher and Bharat Ratna recipient. Dr. Radhakrishnan was born on September 5, 1888. Since 1962 - the year Dr Radhakrishnan became president of India- the country has commemorated his birth anniversary by paying tribute to its teachers and gurus on this day.

The activity took place in APPWEARS TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD , Noida on 13th Oct, 2023. The main objective of this activity was to create a programming environment for students. A team of 54 members including student and faculty member visit here.

INDUSTRIAL VISIT IN “APPWEARS TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD”

The main objective of this activity was to create a social awareness about cleanliness and its impact on our health and surrounding environment. A team of 06 members including students headed by Dr Ishwar Singh delivered lectures to the students of various classes on the topic and encouraged them to follow the ways to keep themselves and environment neat and clean to be healthy in the life. Our senior team member Dr Sakshi Sood from GIMS carried out Health Checkup of many villagers and delivered them the tips to keep themselves healthy in the life. The village activity was very successful in creating an impact in the lives of the participants.

AI&DS department of GNIOT organised an expert lecture on “GENERATIVE AI AND THE FUTURE OF JOBS”. The lecture took place in First Floor seminar hall in GNIOT, Greater Noida on 2nd November, 2023. The main objective of the guest lecture was to provide attendees valuable insights into the rapidly evolving landscape of AI and its impact on future career prospects.

“Workshop on Machine Learning”

The Speaker highlighted that AI and ML are terms that nearly everyone has heard of these days. Even those who aren’t familiar with these terms encounter these new technologies almost every day. Research shows that 77 percent of the devices that we currently use have AI built into them. Worldwide, sugar factories are being modernized and automated in response to the need for efficient production and be able to compete globally. The industrial visit to Automated Anamika Sugar Mills Pvt. Ltd. provided students with valuable practical exposure to the operations of a sugar manufacturing plant. It served as a platform for integrating theoretical knowledge with real-world industrial applications, enhancing their understanding of computer science principles in the context of industrial processes
