Department of CSE - Artificial Intelligence Established in 2022, the Department of CSE - Artificial Intelligence offers a four-year B.Tech program with an intake of 60 students. The department has a group of highly qualified and dedicated faculty to provide value-based education and training needed for students to sustain in a highly demanding technical world.

One of the top-ranked robotics companies, UiPath (a global software company that makes robotic process automation (RPA) software. It was founded in Bucharest, Romania, by Daniel Dines and Marius Tîrcă. Its headquarters are in New York City.), was valued at $7 billion this year.
Artificial intelligence is becoming such an integral part of culture that although only a third of consumers say they use it, data shows that figure is closer to 77%. Some of the top-rated jobs in artificial intelligence are:
- AI research scientist: base salary $146,085
- Machine learning engineer: base salary $136,233
- Software developer: base salary $104,463
- Robotics scientist: base salary $88,900
- Business intelligence developer: base salary $70,056
The field of robotics has emerged as a job field in its own right. In fact, more than 50 percent of engineering positions were in robotics engineering, and the field of artificial intelligence specialist hiring has grown 74% in the last four years. 15% of companies report using AI this year; by next year that figure is expected to double. Since 2000, the number of AI startup companies has grown.
The curriculum includes subjects needed for getting a placement in software companies such as Data Structures, Object Oriented Programming, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Web Engineering, Operating Systems, Advanced Databases, along with programming languages like C, Java, and Python. Advanced and latest areas of CSE, which are also related to AI like DevOps, Full Stack Development, Cloud and Edge Computing are also included in the curriculum. According to NASSCOM, more than 75% of startups are using Artificial Intelligence and most of the tech startups that got funding use AI. With a blend of TBI, ACIC, and Incubation support available at our university, students will be encouraged and guided by industry mentors to inculcate the startup culture in AI.
The department has undertaken many research projects and FDPs funded by university/government agencies. The department also has numerous research publications in various national and international journals.
The CSE - Artificial Intelligence Department has also developed in-house labs and trainers, certified by industries to cater not only to the need for training but also for various certifications like CEH, MOS, MTA, Java, Oracle, etc. The advanced curriculum encompasses a variety of topics relating to computation, ranging from abstract analysis of algorithms and formal grammars to subjects like programming languages, software, artificial intelligence, soft computing, and computer hardware, which prepares students for career opportunities in different areas such as software development, software testing, web designing, computer communications and networking, ethical hacking, etc. The department has started an excellent placement approach with high salary packages.
